2017 saw Base 5 Guard headed to Vilakazi Restaurant (Soweto). Base 5 Guard treated the senior citizens from Best Men Foundation for a day out. The guests where spoilt for choice on the food which they were served.

All the senior citizens present got food parcels and blankets to keep them warm during winter.
