To bring awareness on the problems faced by women, Base 5 Guard acknowledges the Women, the mothers, the sisters as well as the daughters in our communities. 2019 saw Base 5 Guard nominate a number of mothers who had shown and had worked tirelessly to put the plight of women and the girl child before themselves. These mothers were flown to Durban for a well-earned break.
