The national theme for Youth Day 2017 was ‘Advancing Youth Economic Empowerment’. The national theme for Youth Day and Base 5 Guard’s statement from the MD which states that we need to have the same objectives of national reconstruction and development programs so as to reduce the crime rate, build strong relationships and maximise on local empowerment and skills development in communities in which we work.

Base 5 Guard engaged the Youth on their day so that they could showcase their skills. The day was fun filled with dance, songs and drama.
